In 'My Issues', name your issue 'First and Main' and locate it at the corner of First and Main (of course!). Then, write the yes/no question at the heart of the issue - for example:
Should City Council approve a stop light at the corner of First and Main?
Finally, write a balanced factual summary of the issue. After you put your issue in the suggestion box, others will rate your issue on three scales:
Actionable
Balanced
Clear
The higher your ratings, the faster you'll be invited to open your issue for public comment. So, as you write your issue, be sure it is actionable, balanced and clear.
